Delicious Details

  • Classes are 1.5 to 2 hours long.
  • We provide ingredients, equipment, aprons, and culinary instructors who provide an abundance of joy, empowerment, and inspiration to young chefs.
  • The maximum capacity at all locations is 30 students.
  • Groups may arrive 10 minutes before their event.
  • Menus incorporate culinary skills, nutritional concepts, and exploratory opportunities for students to try new foods.
  • Recipes are made from scratch, allowing a hands-on experience. 
  • Knowledge from core classes like reading, math, and science is applied and expanded upon in our hands-on cooking classes.

Pricing

1.5-Hour Classes:

  • 8-12 kids: $50 per child
  • 13-18 kids: $45 per child 
  • 19-24 kids: $35 per child
  • 25-30 kids: $30 per child

The Science of Baking

Explore the fascinating science behind baking! Students will learn about reactions that make baked goods rise, the role of kneading dough, and get creative in choosing their pizza toppings and decorating their cupcakes. Join us for this hands-on experience that blends culinary arts and science!

Hidden Veggies

Culinary Essentials 101

Learn fundamental techniques in the kitchen as students chop, season, and cook their way to creating a delicious taco bar to mix and match their favorite fillings and gain confidence to customize their dishes to their taste.  To end on a sweet note, we’ll whip up baked churros and learn how to make dough, use a piping bag, and create a crispy sweet treat!

Balanced Breakfast

Kickstart your morning with a fun and flavorful exploration of balanced breakfast! We’ll learn the basics of pie dough and how to get a flaky texture. Kids will get creative as they customize their quiche and pop tarts with a filling bar of vegetables, fruits, cheeses, and meats. Students will leave with new cooking skills, delicious treats, and a deeper appreciation for a balanced start to their day!

Field Trip FAQ’s

Availability & Space

  • Available from September to May
    • Monday – Friday from 10am – 3pm, depending on kitchen availability
  • Minimum is 8 kids; maximum for 1 kitchen is 18, maximum for 2 kitchens is 30

Accommodations

We are a peanut-free and handicap accessible space. We do our absolute best to accommodate allergies wherever and however possible to ensure a safe environment for all.

Allergen Accommodations: $5/child

Refund Policy

Booked events are non-refundable. With 15 plus days notice we will gladly reschedule with no fee. However, with 14 or less days notice, there is a $300 rescheduling fee.

Due to unforeseen circumstances with our facility (for example, a power outage, water damage or weather-related closure), a credit will be applied toward a mutually agreed upon rescheduled date and time.

Great place kids and groups. We had 13 Cub Scouts making Apple pies and catered to allergies even gluten free. Would recommend for a group. All the kids had a great time and got to do all the work themselves.
