What classes do you offer?

We offer a wide variety of classes for all ages, including adults! We teach baking classes, cake decorating classes, and more savory-focused classes, like Din Tai Fun or Bubble Tea Bonanza. For our youngest chefs, we offer adult & kid classes, where parents can cook with their kids. Some of our classes are themed series, where chefs come every week to make a new recipe within the theme (for example, our Travel Series or French Patisserie Series).

Where can I register for classes?

Our website lists all of our available classes. Class description, age ranges, date, time, and price are all listed. If you have any questions, please give us a call or send us an email. We would be happy to find the perfect class for you or your kiddo!

Do you share recipes?

Yes! Recipes are emailed the week of your class via email.

Age

How young do classes at Froglegs Start?

We offer classes for ages 3 and up, including our adult & kid classes for our youngest chefs. Students must be potty trained. We have consistently found that 3 is the best age to start. Unfortunately for the safety of our students and quality of our classes, we cannot make exceptions to our age policy. We encourage you to involve your children in the kitchen at home and look forward to having them in class when they are three.

Can I enroll my child in a younger or older class?

We set age guidelines based on our experience working with kids in the kitchen. Our recipes and pace of class is adjusted for the age ranges we create them for. We want to meet our students at their experience level. However, we are flexible and can accommodate most requests to enroll in a different aged class. FrogLegs reserves the right to make final decisions on class enrollment.

Camps

Are your camps just one day?

During school breaks we offer camps for the whole week. For our younger camps during the summer, we require a full week commitment. For our older camps during the summer, we offer drop ins or a full week commitment.

Does my child need to bring lunch to camp?

Nope! The main focus of our camp is making a delicious and healthy lunch & treat. We do recommend bringing a water bottle and a light snack.

Birthdays

What all is included in birthday parties and how much are they?

All birthday parties include a fun and engaging instructor, your selected menu, drink, and fruit for 8 children. Party decor, including a “Happy Birthday” banner and more is set up for your party’s theme, aprons are provided during the party, and we provide plates, cups, napkins, utensils, and a birthday candle. Prices start at $675 and are dependent on the party theme (i.e. Fabulous Pizza & Cupcake, Italian Pasta Party, Baking Party), total number of kids, and any add-ons (catering or party favors).

Each additional child after 8 kids is an additional $75 (capacity limits per location). Party favors are available to purchase if you choose to purchase. Depending on the amount of kids, there may be an additional teacher or assistant to aid with prep, clean up, and cooking to ensure the best party for your child!

What dates and times can I have my party?

We host birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays from 10-12pm, 1:30-3:30pm, and 5:00-7:00. Parties are two hours long. Other dates and times are available upon request. Date availability is dependent upon other parties. When inquiring about your party online, please include your preferred days and we will do our best to accommodate!

How do I book a birthday party?

Check out all of our birthday themes on our website (froglegskca.com). Once you see a theme you would like, send us a party inquiry with your preferred date(s), time(s), theme, and any other requests. We do all party and event communication through email with our admin team, but please feel free to call us if you have any questions!

  • Once the date and time are finalized, we will reserve the date with a $350 deposit. After all party details are confirmed, including number of guests, catering, and party favors, you will be invoiced the final amount.

Can I bring my own birthday cake or any other outside food?

Absolutely! Please let our admin team know when you are planning your party with us if you are going to bring in outside food, including a cake. We want to make sure we have ample time for cutting and enjoying your cake. We do charge $75 for outside catering.

When can we arrive?

You can arrive 10 minutes before the party. We need time prior to the party to finish setting up for your party. Arriving early is not an option unless arranged previously. If you do arrive early, you are welcome to wait outside.

Is there a cancellation fee?

All birthday rebookings are subject to a $200 fee for each rebooking regardless of reason. When rebooking your party, your new date and time is not confirmed until you have received a new confirmation email with updated party details. If you cancel a party and do not reschedule, your deposit is non-refundable. Due to unforeseen issues with our facility (i.e. power outage) or weather & community-related closures, we will apply a credit for your class or party and can help you reschedule at your convenience.

Allergies

My child has a nut allergy, can they take a class at Froglegs?

With the exception of our macaron classes, all of our classes are nut-free. No nuts are used in recipes, however we cannot guarantee that ingredients we use such as chocolate chips or M&Ms have not been processed in a facility that also processes nuts. There is no additional charge to accommodate a nut allergy. If your child has an anaphylactic allergy, they MUST have their prescribed emergency treatment (i.e. EpiPen) in order to attend our classes.

My child is gluten & dairy free, can they take a class at FrogLegs?

Of course! We are happy to accommodate allergies for an additional cost for purchasing specialty ingredients. Allergen accommodation fees are listed on our class postings. Our goal is for all the kids to feel safe and included in our classes. However, we do have some classes and camps that focus on some allergens (i.e. Flour Power), and the integrity of these classes is lost when alternatives are used. Therefore, we cannot accommodate some allergens for these specific classes.

Adult

Do you offer classes for adults?

Yes, we offer corporate events, adult classes, and private celebrations.

How do corporate events work?

For corporate events, we offer a variety of 2-hour long classes to choose from–Food Truck Wars, Chopped Pizza, and Cake Wars, just to name a few! Price is dependent on the menu, any catering added on, additional time added on and total number of guests.These events begin at $750 for 6 guests, or $1200 for 12 guests. This includes a meal for all, mingle time, and multiple engaging and knowledgeable cooking instructors.

  • To book a corporate event, submit an inquiry form on our website, froglegskca.com, and share your preferred date(s), theme, location, and any other requests! We do all of our party and event communication through email with our admin team (info@froglegskca.com), after this initial inquiry, but please feel free to call us if you have any questions!

Alcohol

Can I serve wine or beer at my event?

Certainly! Unfortunately due to Washington State Liquor Regulations, FrogLegs is unable to provide beer or wine for private events. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own if you obtain a Banquet Permit from the WA State Liquor Board. These permits are simple to obtain on the Washington State Liquor & Cannabis Board website. FrogLegs has a maximum 2 serving limit per guest. Open containers may not leave the premises.

Can I serve cocktails at my event?

Unfortunately, our liquor licensing only covers beer and wine. We cannot serve hard liquor.

Market & Catering

Can I order a custom cake?

Certainly! We offer 3-layer 6 inch cakes with simple, yet creative designs, such as a melting ice cream cone, rainbow, sprinkle drip or unicorn cake. Visuals of these cakes can be seen on our website. We can make vanilla, chocolate, or funfetti flavors. Order online and allow 48 hours to fulfill. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee up to the full amount.

What other food options are there for birthday parties or events? Can I add-on any food?

Of course! We have a variety of platters you could add-on, such as a crudite platter, charcuterie board, fruit platter, and sandwich platter. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee up to the full amount.

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

At a minimum, we ask for 48 hours to fulfill your order.

Refunds, Cancellations, Withdrawals, & Transfers

What is your cancellation policy?

FrogLegs reserves the right to cancel sessions that do not meet minimum requirements. Parents will be notified of cancellation via email, phone call, or text. Students from canceled sessions may be transferred to another session free of charge.

No refunds or make up classes will be offered to students who miss any classes that they were registered for but failed to attend.

What is your illness & removal policy?

FrogLegs reserves the right to temporarily deny any student admittance for reasons of obvious illness, or to request early departure should symptoms become apparent during the course of a class. It is up to our discretion when a student may return to the premises. Makeup classes will be offered to any student who misses class due to illness only, and if we are notified BEFORE the class starts.

Additionally, fostering a safe learning environment for our students is our number one priority. Therefore, FrogLegs reserves the right to remove any student who is a part of a situation that presents itself as unsafe for that student, other students, or our team. No refunds or make-up classes will be offered to students who are removed from class for behavioral issues. However, the student is welcome back after corrected behavior.

What is your withdrawal & transfer policy?

All requests for class withdrawals or transfers will be honored if requested before the day of the class. FrogLegs does not offer refunds for withdrawals or transfers. However, FrogLegs will happily issue a credit towards a new session to use for a future class. Once the class has begun, no credits or transfers will be issued. Transfers refer to changing the session dates or locations, not transferring to another individual.

Great place kids and groups. We had 13 Cub Scouts making Apple pies and catered to allergies even gluten free. Would recommend for a group. All the kids had a great time and got to do all the work themselves.
